Returned Sunday from a trip to the beautiful Island of Bermuda. The combination of glorious pink sand beaches, extremely polite people, colorful buildings and lush green foliage made for a photographers heaven. All I could think was what a great destination to have a wedding. Every church we passed I imagined a bride in white contrasting the bright beautiful colors of the island. Below are some of my favorite shots from the week.
Catherine and Andy had a beautiful ceremony at an old church in Allaire State Park. The service was lovely. I was truly impressed with the care and compassion they have for one another and their extended families. The reception and after party had a broadway theme. Catherine being an accomplished singer led the karaoke party late into the evening. I am honored to have been part of their special day. Below are some of my favorite pictures from the day.
One of the dads on my sons all star baseball team from last year sent me this video. It was in the final game for the 11 year old west all stars. Possibly the best gift I have ever received.
Larissa and Tim had a beautiful church wedding. Formals were at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum and reception at The Villa in Mountain Lakes. Larissa and Tim made a perfect bride and groom, almost as if they were plucked off the top of a very expensive wedding cake. These are my favorite images from the day. The first being my favorite getting ready image to date.
The iPad may be one of the best tools created for photographers since the camera. Being able to carry my whole portfolio with me is fantastic. Backlit images show your work at it's best. The screen changes from portrait to landscape to accommodate the image orientation presented. After one week with this device I am sure Apple has revolutionized the way we do business.
